| The Gamer's Edge by The Gamer's Edge (1997) This game review magazine was founded in 1997 in a bid to compete with The Review Guild. Unlike TRG though TGE issues contained multiple reviews and also gaming related articles such as hardware reviews. The Gamer's Edge eventually merged with The Review Guild to form the now famous www.game-over.net website.
