| Wave by The Council/The Wave Team (1995/1998) Released just after newyears in 1996 Wave was originally a coded magazine put out by the German group The Council. Eventually Wave went independent after issue 5 though that didn't help their cause too much. Wave was originally released on a monthly issue but eventually issues took longer after each release. The main reason Wave was never successful was that it was too querky for mosts peoples tastes. Plus the fact the scene items where just not that good. After issue 12 Wave went from DOS to Win32 code and eventually died after issue 13. The Win32 coding isn't too bad I might add though it feels almost like a webpage then an emag.
