Re: Why was Samplitude & VEgas fixed by Radium Nuked?
Does ne1 know what was wrong with the RADIUM releases of VEGAS fixed & Samplitude 5.31 to cause them to be nuked???

Answer : Quite simply, filenames. The names of our release zips sometimes are more than 8.3 characters in order to make them a little more descriptive to the end downloader. Some ppl still like to be 'oLDSk00l' and nuke releases that have more than 8.3 chars - there's no technical reason for it just an outdated tradition from DOS days. On a side note, we're promoting making '12.3' a new MAXIMUM to help avoid any 'rediculouslongname.zip' releases.

Re: ATTN: radium
You folks are relaay doing thangs...after pourin' thru lines of code I must say I have to take my hat off to you guys...wow deep...you're unreal (Samp...) great stuff dude....anyway thanx I was able to buy a few products becuse of your guys testing of the stuff..... i would of wasted good money on bad proggies if it were'nt for you (also echoed in various studios I work in)....there are lots of studios and posting houses that have bought several products from your advise...they wouldn't have otherwise. we just bought 6 copies of cubase and waves due to your testing so thanx....

Answer : Very happy to hear you're using Radium releases the way they were intended.. to learn more about the programs and avoid shelling out big money for ones that only look impressive until you really get into it. I sometimes wonder if certain companies would be so rigorously 'anti-warez' if they knew how many of their current customers first used a cracked release to properly evaluate all their options.

Re: ATTN: Radium .. request
ddclip is a very cool audio program with some real potential. Can you give it a look? thanks

Answer : We see a lot of program requests. When requesting please include a tested direct URL to the program demo and also make sure the program costs more than $60 (we don't release anything cheaper.) If the limitations of the demo aren't listed it would also be helpful if you said what they were. (Most times save disabled programs aren't crackable.) We will read and look into requests, but we generally wont reply just to say 'we saw your request'. :)

We saw your encrypted message, however you didn't include your public key so we're unable to read it or reply. :) Please post again.

Communication FAQ (new or updated text is in red)
Q : Does Radium have email, website or visit chat groups?
A : No

Q : How can someone get a message to Radium?
A : We periodically read messages in the Newgroup ABSUD. (Alt.Binaries.Sounds.Utities.D) Please put 'ATTN Radium :' in the subject line.

Q : How would Radium reply?
A : We will never post replys directly to newsgroups. The only place you will see a Radium reply is in this Radiumchat.htm file that is included with releases. We would be grateful if someone (anyone) would 'repost' each radiumchat.htm file to the absud newsgroup. (We won't be posting it there ourselves for security reasons.)

Q : What if the message is private?
A : Use PGP to encode the message. Our public key is at the very end of this radiumchat. **Be sure to also include YOUR public PGP key with any post.** (otherwise we cant read the message or reply to you!) :)

Q : If we post our public key wont everyone be able to read the messages?
A : No. Here's a quick intro - When you first run PGP you will be prompted to create a key PAIR (use RSA 2048 for your key.) You will then have a Public and a Private key. To communicate with someone you will both need to know each others PUBLIC key. Other parties wont be able to read it because they don't have your individual PRIVATE keys.

Although we will read every post, our time is limited and we will only be able to reply here occasionally. Also please don't expect replys for questions like 'Where can i get X, When will X be released, etc'
