I wouldn't pretend to be a top trader, but I am happy with what I am, and that's all that matters -[CwS Interviewer]: What would you tell the up and coming couriers? -[boring]: stay with your current group and friends. a top group could offer you sites/shells, and it could be tempting to go, but you will be pleased in the long run to stay where you are, and try and improve your current group... sites and shells come and go, but friends will stay. -[CwS Interviewer]: What is you Opinion on the current status of the scene? -[boring]: too many new people who want to be on all the best sites and have the best shell, all in their first week, and they are not prepared to work to get it, they just go to the highest bidder... They will also do anything they can to win, they don't care how they do it, as long as they are #1... eg. preing non-working crap. We have been lucky so far, but there are too many new people on top sites, as soon as they don't get their own way we could see several sites being narqed.. I joined into a group called Digitalx, which had then merged up with GWC (Global Wares Couriers) and then I soon left to form my own group; TLS (The Lone Soldiers), which is now known as Xcrypt. -[CwS Interviewer]: How long have you been an active scene member? -[DieSelz]: Roughly around 5-6 years in BBS and iNET. -[CwS Interviewer]: What is currently happening in your Group? -[DieSelz]: Xcrypt is currently expanding and divided up into divisions and picking up alot through better sites and more dedicated couriers. Alot of team work involved and countless hours spent as well alot of focus in all directions and hopefully things go well... -[CwS Interviewer]: How did you get to where you are in the scene? -[DieSelz]: I cant say I am anywhere in the scene right now but I and my team is working hard everyday to improve and to do the best we can to upgrade our status, but there are four main things that have taken us up the road ahead: 1. A lot of team work and dedication 2. A lot of help from existing scene members 3. A lot of failures 4. Realize that respect is not presumed but rather earned. Realize that you are not the first person that does not know something, so don't feel ashamed to ask and learn something when u need to. Anyway, I really don't have anything else to put in my intro except look out, here comes RiSC. 3 of their traders in the top 10 and none of them are major prewhores. Congrats! He made #25 this week. Deerow quit as well. Times are looking grim, can there be a turn around? Time will tell. Rating: (1/10) - (yes whoo, you earnt that point!) AMNESiA (AMN): Came in at #4 position. Amnesia started off this year to a flying start at #1 but they have been a bit idle of late, with only nail making it in the top 10 traders. He is back from exams and kicking again but its going to take a lot more than just nail trading by himself. Drunkkid has been busy with dqf it seems with them releasing like 1 billion titles in a day I saw.. But the coolest news from AMN is our very own LS made the top traders at #14. Congrats!! Rating: (5/10) - (+1 for CWS staff :) ) ANGELS ON DRUGS (AOD): Made #1 this week thanks to prewolf err darkwolf totally owning the scene and taking #1 'traders' list. Sax , cedric, faith and cahor also helped by coming in at #5, #8, #11 and #12 respectively. Gollie also made an appearance at #21. At least some traders still exist in Pre'ers on Drugs. May the force help them if they stop getting their pre's though.. Gratz on #1 boys Rating: (9/10) DEVOTiON (DEV): Dropped from #1 last week to #3 this week. It looks like Godbless's batteries werent fully charged from his weekly charge up. Only DEV person this week to make it this week in the top 10 list was tazola at #9, and I think he is still trial? Garato, tc, godbless, ofd and prozax also put in a combined effor to make it in the top traders list to get DEV at #3. I would like to see DEV keep up with the tradition of a top group. Keep at it fella's. Rating: (6/10) RiSE iN SUPERiOR COURiERiNG (RiSC): Well look out world! Here come RiSC again. Kicking it in at #2. Congrats! Flavour, primeass err primal and worp all made it in the top 10 list. Pseudo was the only trader in the list to miss top 10 at #18, dissapointing for him as pseudo was #2 last week. It finally seems RiSC ave come of age with their new traders and starting to own again. All we need now is my boy thraxis to join them and we should see them shaking the foundations and grabbing #1 spot. Its good to see old school groups still alive. I remember years and years ago, seeing RiSC everywhere, BBS's, ftp sites and wanting to be a RiSC member. Sadly I never made it but hey, Im still here and you're reading my reviews.. Once again, a single trader has basically carried them into the top groups list.
