++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ + This procedure creates a back-up diskette of LoadCalc version 4.13 + ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ Even when copied with CopyIIPC, the LoadCalc disk spins in the A drive without running. Here's the procedure to use: 1. Make a backup copy with CopyIIPC. 2. Rename the Loadcalc.exe file Loadcalc.xxx on the copied disk. 3. Dos in drive A, Loadcalc.xxx in drive B. 4. Type DEBUG B:LOADCALC.XXX 5. Type S CS:0100 FFFF 7F 16 6. Two numbers will show up: XXXX:YYYY 7. Type E XXXX:YYYY and hit return 8. You will see XXXX:YYYY 7F. 9. Type in EB after the period and hit enter 10. Type W and hit enter 11. Type Q and hit enter 12. Rename Loadcalc.xxx Loadcalc.exe 13. Backup copy will now run. Note: This procedure will NOT allow LoadCalc to be moved to a hard disk, just allow a back-up copy to be made. →→ll NOT allow LoadCalc to be moved to a hard disk, just allow a back-up copy to be made.
