There are 4 strainers │ │ here. All the 4 strainers reside in the one single executable "Crackme.exe"│ │ The strainers are: │ │ 1) Splash screen │ │ 2) Name/Code Registration │ │ 3) Keyfile-based Registration │ │ 4) Serial-only Registration │ │ │ │ To be sucessful, you must │ │ 1) Destroy the Splash (aka NAG) screen │ │ 2) Get a valid Name/Code combo │ │ 3) Generate a valid Keyfile │ │ 4) Get a valid (see below) working Serial │ │ │ │ Remember that for trial status, only 3 out of 4 are required. │ │ If you are able to crack all 4 strainers, then, subject to some conditions,│ │ full membership MAY be granted. │ │ │ │ Key or serial generators are looked on more favourably than just a plain │ │ serial or keyfile. │ │ │ │ You are allowed to physically patch "Crackme.exe" in order to kill the NAG │ │ (although there are other ways to do it). However, all the other three │ │ routines should NOT be "touched". │ │ │ │ While it may appear complicated, it is NOT a difficult target. I would │ │ classify this crackme as EASY! Let this be a warning of the standard of │ │ work we expect from our members. If you don't consider it easy, don't │ │ dispair, just continue the learning experience that is software reverse │ │ engineering. │ │ │ │ After all, we DO want to recruit members who have the potential ;) │ │ │ │ SPECIAL NOTE FOR THE SERIAL ONLY: │ │ I would consider this a challenging but easy protection in one. A valid │ │ serial is DEAD EASY to make, but there is a catch. On verification of a │ │ serial, you will be give a registration token. Mine is XLPC.
