Well, SlaveLord is a dick, plain and simple. He released fixes for both ViSiON and Velocity, both decent softwares. ViSiON is kicking LSD's ass in the pirate world, and SlaveLord knows it. So he figures, make it lame and release a ViSiON fix. Well, I figure, why not do the same for him. So, this copy of LSD Valid will validate any copy of LSD version 1.27 or lower to you. It was pretty simple really. SlaveLord is an IDIOT and put out a fix for ViSiON which in actuality was a fix for LSD. So all we had to do was edit some code, and make it read LSD.EXE instead of Vision.exe. So, this is the same thing. We didn't bother changing the name in the .exe because we wanted to show what a real true idiot slavelord really is. WHAT Does the "LSDVALID.EXE" program do? LSD BBS has a special "Serial Number" attached to it. This Serial Number is attached to the BBS program WHENEVER someone runs the VALID.EXE program that you can get from the L.S.D. authors. ALL the VALID.EXE program does is takes a CONSTANT string, and searchs the VISION.EXE program for this string. It THEN will change that string to WHATEVER the registered sysop is of the VALID program. If you do NOT run their VALID.EXE program, then you will be UNABLE to run L.S.D. BBS. What we're doing for you is simple. We just ask you WHAT the sysop name and the BBS name is FOR your BBS, then we use THAT Data which YOU enter to Register L.S.D. BBS. Where can I obtain a copy of L.S.D. BBS you ask? Well, unlike SlaveLord, who wasn't kind enough to supply you with a copy of ViSiON, I will be kind and tell you that not many people have L.S.D. available for downloading. But, there are a few boards, one in Florida, for example, which does have it. If you are on the board, you will know which one it is. If not, find it out. You can also find it on any board running an 'illegal' copy of LSD. Why would someone do this? Well, I explained it before. SlaveLord thinks he's funny with his little 'fix the bbs' program. Well, his idea backfired. We will turn LSD into a joke. Celerity and ViSiON will take the pirate world by surprise, and LSD will be left in smoke to be run by lamers. Don't worry, when the L.S.D. Staff comes up with a new protection "Scheme" for their software, I'll be putting out new patches for it. Basically ANY AND ALL UPDATES TO L.S.D. you will be ABLE TO GET FOR FREE. You can get all updates to this program on any good pirate board. Look for WEEDNET coming soon. Anyone who runs an illegal copy of LSD and who wants to be in this net, hold your horses.
