The changes: * Added the "Blood Patch" type to the "Enhancer Patch" definition. Like nudie patches, enabling blood (or bloodier) graphics is a nice enhancement. -end of changes 1. Group HS (High Society) was moved from Generic to it's own section. Old rankings were revised to reflect the transferred Points. 4 08-13 Creatures.3.Exodus.Multi.Language.Changer-HS 0 10-19 Mall.Tycoon.3.NoCD-HS Those two dox above took 4 points & 2 releases from Generic stats and added them to the new stats of HS. 2. EMPORiO was given their own separate ranking. We are still sure they are some P2P guys (which is widely known btw). But, they are bloating the Generic stats and that is annoying us. 3. SUSPECTS was given their own separate ranking. They too were bloating the Generic stat points. This is not counting "Generic" as a real group. The previous record holder was PWZISO at 34 DOX released in January 2005. Keeping the record of 34 for almost one year, PWZISO showed you all how to rule the dox scene. aSxDOX, in an unprecedented turn of events, managed to take the #2 spot this month. They never made it to even the Top 3 before. So congrats to aSxDOX! So, why do we have a 'Generic' group for the ranks? Well, it was to avoid having 100 extra groups to deal with in the statistics and rankings. And since each one usually only does 1 or 2 dox in their entire lifetime, we would end up with like 100 groups on the bottom of the ranks each with 0-2 total points. So, we lumped them all together, but surprisingly 'Generic' seems to take the #2 to #4 spot every month. It seems really odd. But some dude will make a cracked update, 2 others do NoCDs, and before you know it, it adds up to be quite a bit of points given to 'Generic'. Maybe if all these generic jerks banded together, they could become a real force to be reckoned with in the scene. Hah! Next, we come to the State Of The Scene issue. All of these non-burnable 'fake clones' are a complete disgrace to the entire scene. 1 year ago, you saw none of this shit. Just about every single game was fully cracked. And even a rare one here or there, which was not cracked, might have had a BURNABLE True Clone. There were no EMULATION-REQUIRED clones at all. That shit would be nuked. No group telling people to leech public-domain tools off the web. Or tools made by some web forum guy or even by P2P lamers. How is crap like that considered a valid release? Well it is not! You want to tell us that it is permitted to put some image out in the scene that requires you to keep that image on your Hard Drive forever, then mount it in Daemon Tools every single time you want to play it, but first power down your PC and then unplug the cables from your CD-Rom drives, then also install Win XP SP2 because the protection-tricker applications you will need only run on that OS and Service Pack since the moron who coded it is dumb bitch, and then when you are done playing you must realize that the lame tricker-app fucked over your system so that LEGIT games you bought will not work anymore? Then go ahead and keep fucking over the scene with your 5-year-old intellect "button clicking generated" 'fake clones'. We, however, will not tolerate that pathetic shit. It's not "run the game at any available cost to avoid buying it". 30 Steps to run the game in the NFO? Sure, why not. Lets all buy a ticket for the lamer train.
