WarCraft II - THE game of the year.... This is definately one ║ ║ of the best and most addictive PC games ever. We here at Hybrid can assure ║ ║ that YOU will be glued to your monitor 24H/day for atleast two weeks! ║ ║ ║ ║ It was a BITCH to crack. CD-checks and file integrity checks. Inorder to ║ ║ exclude the inbetween scenario speech, Cyber had to reprogram the memory ║ ║ hype or something... piece of cake for one of the best PC-crackers ever! ║ ║ I urge other crackers to try and break this puppy when the original comes ║ ║ out in the shops... I know there is probably only one or two crackers in ║ ║ the scene who can crack the game the way Cyber did... check it out... ║ ║ ║ ║ The graphics is superb, in 640x480x256c mode. The music is awesome if ║ ║ you've got a GUS or an AWE-32 or similar, and the SFX is really kewl! ║ ║ You should load up the sfxed95.exe from your Windows 95 and listen to all ║ ║ the SFX and have a laugh! ║ ║ ║ ║ With the 8 player network option, you can play against/with your friends. ║ ║ Modem & Serial-link is also supported. ║ ║ ║ ║ Also included is a map editor where you can create your own scenarios and ║ ║ customize battles and so on. ║ ║ ║ ║ Here's some WarCraft II features and hype I found on CompuServe: ║ ║ ║ ║ * Tactical combat over land, sea and air. ║ ║ * Separate story lines for Orc and Human campaigns with ║ ║ two dozen (!) scenarios. ║ ║ * A doze veteran scenarios for advanced players. ║ ║ * New units including dragons, griffons, battleships, submarines, ║ ║ Elven archers, Dwarven inventors and zeppelins. ║ ║ * Enhanced artificial itelligence ║ ║ ║ ║ What has been ripped from the CD? ║ ║ ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ║ ║ 50MB of intro animations and 20MB of inbetween scenario speech has been ║ ║ taken out. And ofcourse the CD tracks are missing, but since MIDI is ║ ║ supported, who cares?
