UNZip the files MLSBASE1 - MLSBASE5 into a directory on your hard drive. 2. Use the DOS SUBST command to assign drive A: to said directory. 3. Log to the SUBSTed drive. 4. Run MicroLeague's included INSTALL program. This will allow you to select your sound options and to decompress the game. You need about 5 megs of space on the drive to play with the digitized animations. 5. After installing, copy the file CRACK.EXE out of the install directory into the Baseball IV directory. 6. Run the file CRACK.EXE to patch the game so that you can get through the doc check. Thank Darwin for that one. As you can see the .nfo has been revamped in the members section! I haven't heard from quite a few members so i am afraid they have been taken out of the member list until further notice. As for additions: We have picked up quite an asset in former 8088state member Kevlar. He will be running an FTP site for us, which will also serve as courier HQ He also has a lot of fresh ideas and releases to add. He is going to be a very important member as we continue to regroup. We would like to welcome aboard Tailgate; he will be lending a big hand in the packaging of DPS releases and also will be supplying. We would also like to welcome Quinto - our first overseas member. He will be our inet courier to our two new swedish sites. If you look for him on irc, you might find him as Pasman or gnu96. Welcome Quinto! Also a promotion in the works - Marlboro has been upped to senior coordinator. In the past few weeks he has supplied quite a few releases and shared lots of good ideas w/ me about what DPS should be - So who better to make his ideas come to life than him. :) Congrats Marlboro! We would like to give a big THANKS to Radar who recently donated a very large amount of tapes with releases from 1988-1994.. In the coming months Marlboro, Tailgate, and I will be sorting through them and releasing all the good stuff. Thanks Radar! There has been some changes in the Site list as well: Marlboro's Country has become the new SEHQ! MGFi has shifted to World HQ due to my board being down (don't know when/if it's coming back). We now have two affiliates overseas in Sweden. FastLink (due to its larger size) will become our SwedishHQ. Welcome PrimEvil our newest stateside site over in CA and of course our courier hq - Free Zone. You will probably also be able to notice the absence of several boards - they are no longer up due to reasons unknown. ATTENTION ALL MEMBERS: The time is NOW to recruit more members/sites We really need people with inet accounts to help courier to bbs' in their area codes!
