The Reservoir Warez Report, July 1996 by MR.WHITE ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Releasing rules: - Only final release-version of games will be rated - Only games within the 50 disk limit will be rated - Only games using the english language will be rated - Only games not earlier released on floppy will be rated - Non-working games not fixed will be rated without any points at all. - Non-working games that are fixed within a 5 day period will be rated with -1 point for each fix needed... - Games badly stripped/cracked will be rated -1 point - A game re-released because of the first copy being badly ripped will give the re-releaser full credit of the release. - Addons will only be rated in the score-chart. Highlights in July 1996 ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ We now rate all games within the 50 * 1,44mb limit that was finally accepted as a new limit by HYBRID, MANTIS, NAPALM, PRESTIGE & RAZOR 1911. Still we will give lower points to groups that doesn't strip the games properly... It was also decided to ban all ROR releases. ROR is now known as REFLUX, and has been given a "chance to start over" by the other groups. Close Combat was first not working. Napalm then released a fix, still this doesnt work until you ATTRIB it. Great game but released amatuerly. The BLADE is BACK. Sharp as ever RAZOR 1911 cuts it deep into the month of July and leaves us all crying blood. A good awakening from the earlier coma we saw in June. RAZOR 1911 now shows PRESTIGE that they are here to stay. Let's wait for a bloody august competition.
