Monday, 05/Sept/1994 Well guys, this is it. It appears that the scene as we know it is about to come to an end. I'll keep this as brief as possible because time is what you'll need if this file applies to you. The Australian Federal Police are about to close an investigation on all boards in the NSW region. They have amassed enough information to prosecute all the major systems and traders. They have information on EVERYTHING which leads me to belive that they have been at this for quite a while and have been bidding their time to create as great an impact as is possible. Boards that are marked are as follows: Vanguardium, The Software Pit, Tombstone, Frankies House of Wares Partyland, Burning Crime. Just to name the main targets. So far Vanguardium, Partyland and Tombstone have been taken offline pending the conclusion of this investigation. If you re a phreaker, hacker CC abuser, or Sysop then you are a prime target. I strongly advise you seek legal counsel if you are one of the above. If you do go down, I really hope you can keep your mouth shut about the activities of others. Plea bargaining may get you off lighter by them, but you should realise that police protection doesn't cover you for the rest of your lifetime. Take this as you will. All I've got left to say is a quote: 'After the walls have fallen, all that's left is time to die...' Guess...?
