Emulating TPSVIEW.EXE in DOSee.

Use these tabs to make adjustments to the emulation

If the emulation is taking too long to load, you can turn it off.

Reload DOSee to launch the DOS prompt

Applying changes will reload the page and reboot the emulator

Changes are not applied until the browser tab is reloaded

DOS programs need a keyboard for user input
Some common keys used in DOS programs

ENTER to select or continue
ESC to navigate back or exit
are often used to navigate menus

Emulation too slow?
Set the emulator to use maximum CPU speed

Emulation too fast?
Set the emulator to use the 8086 CPU configuration

Need to turn off the audio?
Disable sound card support

Have no audio?
  1. Try SoundBlaster 1.0 hardware
  2. Try Covox Sound Master hardware
  3. The song or audio file maybe missing from the program
  4. Audio may not be supported
Unlike other systems of the era, audio for DOS was unfortunately complicated for both programmers and end users alike. A lot of early scene software didn't bother including it. While those that did often didn't test it on all the hardware they supposedly supported.

DOSee pronounced dos/see, is our emulator used to run MS-DOS based software in your web browser.

MS-DOS (Microsoft DOS) was the primary operating system used by PCs during the 1980s to the early 1990s and is the precursor to Microsoft Windows.

DOSee is a slimmed down, modified port of The Emularity.

The Emularity is a multi-platform JavaScript emulator that supports the running of software for legacy computer platforms in a web browser. It is the same platform that's running emulation on the Internet Archive.

EM-DOSBox is a discontinued, high-performance JavaScript port of DOSBox that is applied by The Emularity for its emulation of the MS-DOS platform.

DOSee uses BrowserFS ZipFS and ZipFS Extras to simulate zip file archives as hard disks within EM-DOSBox.

DOSBox is the most popular MS-DOS emulator in use today and is frequently used by commercial game publishers to run games from their back-catalogues on modern computers.

This is the first message in The Pirate Syndicate which I have done. Please comment on it if you wish. I will pick up messages on various bulletin board systems, but due to the nature even my handle. I have plenty to talk about this time since I had such a long time since the last newletter. (Long as in never). ≈ I live in a north eastern state, and I will tell you right off the bat that Phreaking is as safe as it was. If you want to phreak do it from a pay phone. It is stupid to do any sort of phreaking in many states. You will get caught, it's only a matter of time. The thing that you should be doing is plenty of carding. Carding is less well known than phreaking, more difficult to do, and definately more profitable. If you know what you are doing you will be a very rich person. I have know people to card enough merchandise to buy themself a car, but it is not wise to do that. ≈ One thing about carding is that you cannot make it your job. You should use carding to supplement your income. A person who is on unemployement yet drives a corvette is going to arouse much suspicion. If you have a low paying job, you can always lie about what you spend your money on. Basically this is how you should be carding: Find a credit card. Order an item to an address near you which is vacant and receiving mail. Leave either a signed note or a yellow slip for UPS or a blue slip for Federal Express on the door so the package is left outside. Make sure no one sees you, try to order small things that could fit inside a screen door or mailbox. Pick the item up. ≈ Alot of people order computer equipment with their cards. This is unwise though since these items have serial numbers on them and embeded in their components. Recently a fad started with people getting rare baseball cards with credit cards. This does not work either because unknown to most people, their is a certification number on almost every card. The things that are the best to card by far are rare coins and stamps. Make sure however that the stamps or coins you buy are not marked with a serial number. You can easily sell these for cash at the next exhibit or send it to someone who can sell it for you. ≈ Ok here is a basic list of what to remember when you card a product: 1. Make sure the product you order is easily sold, and will not arrouse suspicions. 2. Be sure that the product itself has no identification on it. 3. Use virgin cards only. Don't ask around the bbs's for them, find someone you trust who works at a department store and get the card from him. 4. Don't check a card via the 1-800 numbers more than 3 times per 15 minutes. 5. Always order the item through the mail from a pay phone, alot of companies now use caller I.D. which may appear on their records. ≈ 6. Always use 2nd day air or overnight delivery. 7. Never order anything you cannot conceal. 8. Don't order anything illegal with a credit card, you do not need to further implicate yourself with the law. 9. Sell everything you get for cash, make sure no records are kept of the transaction. 10.Don't ship things out that you get, if you do it once or twice it may be ok but if a trend starts of things being ordered and shipped, you are asking for trouble. Thats basically it for this month on carding. ≈ In the following months I will discuss: 1. How to make calls for free without getting caught. 2. How to enlarge your account at Citibank. 3. Hotwiring automobiles. 4. Breaking in to cars/houses. 5. Beating alarm systems. 6. Broadcasting your own FM radio station, for less than $50. 7. Picking locker combinations. 8. Beating scantron/SAT's. 9. Hacking VMB's. 10. Hacking PC Pursuit. 11. Hacking accounts on various bbs programs. 12. Building bombs. 13. Causing mayhem. ≈ I may think of more topics but thats about all. I think I will try to give a more advanced run over of Carding, something on cheating in a Casino, but I dont think I have enough information for a full article yet. Also I am looking for somebody who can make counterfeit money, well. I have been able to make money that can pass through change machines, but they don't look good enough for a real purchase. Also if anyone knows where I can get $.25 slugs cheap, please reply. For know you should refer to me as Agent 666. I may not know this is my handle at first, so if you ask ONCE I may not notice it on a bbs. ≈ Thank You, Agent 666 (triple six) 5/22/90 - For T.P.S. use ONLY.
