Use these tabs to make adjustments to the emulation

Gravis Ultrasound (GUS) audio settings, port 240 IRQ 5 DMA 1

If the emulation is taking too long to load, you can turn it off.

Reload DOSee to launch the DOS prompt

Applying changes will reload the page and reboot the emulator

Changes are not applied until the browser tab is reloaded

DOS programs need a keyboard for user input
Some common keys used in DOS programs

ENTER to select or continue
ESC to navigate back or exit
are often used to navigate menus

Emulation too fast?
Set the emulator to use the 386 CPU configuration

Experiencing graphic or animation glitches?
Set the emulator to use VGA only graphics configuration

Need to turn off the audio?
Disable sound card support

Have no audio?
  1. Try SoundBlaster 16 hardware
  2. The song or audio file maybe missing from the program

DOSee pronounced dos/see, is our emulator used to run MS-DOS based software in your web browser.

MS-DOS (Microsoft DOS) was the primary operating system used by PCs during the 1980s to the early 1990s and is the precursor to Microsoft Windows.

DOSee is a slimmed down, modified port of The Emularity.

The Emularity is a multi-platform JavaScript emulator that supports the running of software for legacy computer platforms in a web browser. It is the same platform that's running emulation on the Internet Archive.

EM-DOSBox is a discontinued, high-performance JavaScript port of DOSBox that is applied by The Emularity for its emulation of the MS-DOS platform.

DOSee uses BrowserFS ZipFS and ZipFS Extras to simulate zip file archives as hard disks within EM-DOSBox.

DOSBox is the most popular MS-DOS emulator in use today and is frequently used by commercial game publishers to run games from their back-catalogues on modern computers.

DOSee, built on The Emularity, EM-DOSBox and DOSBox. Capture screenshot and save function built on canvas-toBlob.js.

The following is a list of the highlights in this presentation: Realtime calculated texturemapped and phongshaded 3D objects, rotating on the screen. Realtime texturemapped 2D tunnel behind a rotating sine-cube, which is shaded by the reflection-algorithm. Music composed in FastTracker (by Triton as you all know). 3D modelling produced in 3DS MAX and 3DS for DOS. All 2D graphics was hand drawn using either a mouse or a lightpen. █▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀█ ▄ ▓▓ ▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄ █ ▄▄ ▓▓ ▄▄▄▄▄▄ █ ▄ (03) Notes from the programmer. █ ▄ ▄ ▄▄▄▄ ▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄ █ ▄▄ █ █ ▀▀▀▀ The 3D fileformat used is GVO, by Alex Chalfin. This handy format comes with a handy .ASC/.3DS converter, it also calculates all normals, does counter-clock-wise-sorting and has a function for UV coordinates. As I use the format, I also peaked into A.C's source, and borrowed his structures for the objects (sorry about that, but no need to rewrite a structure that is read from disk..). The moduleplayer used is Midas Digital Audio System (c) 96-97 Housemarque. Thwas was probarbly one of the most used module players on the demo scene, I like it and so do others.. All programming was done in MS-DOS Editor version 2.0.026 (c) 95 Mircosoft Corporation. I found that this little tool from MS was quite handy, has anybody ever tried learning the hotkeys in this program?? if you had, you might find it as good as f.i. Borland's IDE. All source was programmed in standard C, with small Watcom enhance- ments. The compiler used was Watcom C/C++32 (c) 88-97 Sybase, Inc., and its subsidiaries. Argh, bugs have been notice when using PNP SB16 soundcards, since Midas does not know how to handle the mixing routines, this causes the music to be extremely waig! - The ultimate solution is Gravis UltraSound Max! Yours faithfully Macaw / Denmark (Scandinavia) [1998]. █▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀█ ▄ ▓▓ ▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄ █ ▄▄ ▓▓ ▄▄▄▄▄▄ █ ▄ (04) How to contact the groups: █ ▄ ▄ ▄▄▄▄ ▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄ █ ▄▄ █ █ ▀▀▀▀ To contact us about THIS production please direct all mail to: [email protected] To contact the groups in general please use: [email protected] (for Renegades) [email protected] (for ACiD Productions) █▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀█ ▄ ▓▓ ▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄ █ ▄▄ ▓▓ ▄▄▄▄▄▄ █ ▄ (05) End part. █ ▄ ▄ ▄▄▄▄ ▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄ █ ▄▄ █ █ ▀▀▀▀ Now all there is left to say is, goodbye.. and oh, maybe a little notice about this .DOC file.
