An early Deviance NFO for a major release where they also mention their sharing agreement with Origin. Of interest is a mention of the orm.nu web site. Which would later evolve into ISONews.com and receive a lot of flack from various groups including Deviance.

Yesterday, we supplied and ripped the │ │ Sim City 3000 Final for our associates in Origin, and today we present │ │ you with the Sim City 3000 Final ISO. Our absolute dominance as a group │ │ in 1998 is disputed by none. A quick look at the releases for the year │ │ of 1999 shows that this absolute scene ownership is bound to continue... │ │ So while awaiting our next major release, you can sit back and enjoy │ │ what is easily the single best game released thus far in the new year. │ │ │ │ │ │ │ │ Game Info │ │ ───────── │ │ │ │ What is there to write? Everyone knows what Sim City is, especially │ │ since its available on every single known gaming format in one way or │ │ another, be it PC, C-64, SNES, PSX, etc.. We all know what it is, and │ │ this is just more of the same. Theres some buildings, and roads and │ │ you click on them with your mouse and shit, etc, etc.... Now if Maxis │ │ had an original thought in there heads, they should make something new │ │ like say "Sim Innercity". In that game, you could play the part of a │ │ slumlord, and not only put up rat infested buildings, but also make │ │ sure theres a 24 hour liqour store on every corner. Just like citys in │ │ real life. And of course your Sim-Citizens need to be happy, which is │ │ why when morale/happiness drops you can place a crackhouse in the │ │ vicinity to help increase it! Of course to be realistic, the placing │ │ of police stations would have the opposite effect. Imagine the fun │ │ of being able to build a carbon copy of Harlem or Los Angeles at home? │ │ As far as disasters go, you can chuck in some Race Riots, or perhaps │ │ even a shortage of crackpipes? Imagine being the slumlord who had to │ │ deal with that! Now this is a game i wanna play, not this politically │ │ correct shit. At least Sim Innercity would be realistic... Anyway, │ │ enjoy the game... │ │ │ │ │ │ Check out the ISO scene's BEST news page at WWW.ORM.NU │ │ │ │ Team DVNiSO │ │ │ └────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────┘ ┌────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────┐ │ DVNiSO News & Information │ ├────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────┤ │ ž N E W S ž │ │ └─────────────┘ │ │ │ │ We are currently in the market for hardware suppliers.
