Warped orbits send planets careening into each other, destroying all traces of life. Well...almost all traces of life. Eons later, the only remains of the Malkari system are some 100 asteroids drifting through space. Although barren, each asteroid holds a pulse of life buried deep within, in the form of genertic replicator. The Malkarians saw their doom coming and engineered the replicators so their civilization could one day be reborn and rebuilt. That time has come and the long-dead Malkarians have finally found their saviour-you.
