DOSee pronounced dos/see, is our emulator used to run MS-DOS based software in your web browser.

MS-DOS (Microsoft DOS) was the primary operating system used by PCs during the 1980s to the early 1990s and is the precursor to Microsoft Windows.

DOSee is a slimmed down, modified port of The Emularity.

The Emularity is a multi-platform JavaScript emulator that supports the running of software for legacy computer platforms in a web browser. It is the same platform that's running emulation on the Internet Archive.

EM-DOSBox is a high-performance JavaScript port of DOSBox that is applied by The Emularity for its emulation of the MS-DOS platform.

DOSee uses BrowserFS ZipFS and ZipFS Extras to simulate zip file archives as hard disks within EM-DOSBox.

DOSBox is the most popular MS-DOS emulator in use today and is frequently used by commercial game publishers to run games from their back-catalogues on modern computers.

Installation Notes:

1) Please do not change the destination of C:\ or WINZIP will extract
to C:\YOURDIR\REV\ISSUE_4 and you dont want that. All installations
will be setup the same way to make it easy for you. The only time
you would change C:\ is if you want to put it on your D:\ drive or
something but I suggest you leave it to C:\ unless you absolutely
have to change the destination. If you use PKUNZIP please make sure
the ZIP file is in your root directory and use the pkunzip -d switch
to extract the files into their proper directories and sub-directories.

2) If you wish to submit any material at all to Relativity Emag please
read the NFO file or in the emag for information. Please use our
revfrmt.bin file with ACiDDRAW (width 80) for writing.

3) Lastly, just enjoy the emag and watch out for ISSUE #5 coming out
in whenever we get enough submissions. MuadDib will be busy coding
and improving as always. We may be able to get ISSUE #5 out as usual
on the bi-weekly basis but no guarantees. Have fun! :) l8r
