( starting w/ 1st to present ) -[unit-one]: insanity is my current courier group now but been in motiv8, atomic, atomic-x, esprit, after 2months trial fights in dev i left for insanity and stayed there and well few months ago i went to risc but then left almost as fast as i got in. Then i traded at bbs scene for very long time. Acculy i came to net scene late and well maybe because of that i've been as a renegade finnish among the .fi scene. Then when i got to net [nero] hooked me up and then my carreer here started by the help of US and Swedish ppl. -[CwS Interviewer]: How long have you been an active scene member? -[unit-one]: Well i started from the late 92 you could almost say at the start of 93 and ever since i've been trading in bbs as active to 96 at least and then when i came to inet i traded like hmm 2 years active or at least tried and since then i've been active someways. Speed gets faster and faster and people change more often. I wouldn't mind the things happening at scene today if there would be some kind of limits. Old days you had to work fucking years to get to the top bbs.s = sites today now you have a friend you get 100mb shell and you curry one month at slower and since you get to one fast soon you are in all of them. Three sites i know that has been staying like old days but 1st was about to die without new currys coming in and well the two others are under control now they are still the best but thats about that subject. Oh well i quess we gotta change like the times does otherwise we are fuckedup. -[CwS Interviewer]: What would you tell the up and coming couriers? -[unit-one]: Well the couriers to come, well don't really know exept act humble you can showoff your friends like king of the world but to other scene people be nice and helpful and you will be rewarded well. The speed ain't always the only way to get among the " legends " there are few other ways but just as long as you stay cool don't think you are way much better than others and stay kinda hidden your cool. An improvement on the usual 4th or 5th standing. I cant help but wonder how much the XC PRE keeps these guys in the top 5 every week. Cant take anything away from cannon, though, nice work. #4 REQUEST TO SEND (RTS): RTS (DVADER) follows up their #1 week with a 4th place finish, with DVADER having a somewhat less-than-0wnzing week at #3. It looks like RTS has some new up-and-coming curries who are starting to pick up the slack a bit. Give Dvader some help! :) #5 ViCE (ViCE): Cadence descends on the US scene with a vengeance to claim #2 US curry and nearly single-handedly put ViCE into the top 5. Yet another EU-based group who duals in US and shows the US boys how its done. Props to Cadence and ViCE for a good week. #6 RiSE iN SUPERiOR COURiERiNG (RiSC): A worp-less RiSC is led by Avalanch at #7 to come in at #6. It looks like these guys are focusing more and more on EU. Doesnt look like it takes much effort to grab that #6...US curries give Ava some challenge and knock these guys off. Worp - come challenge neo dammit. #7 AMNESiA (AMN): Once again AMN brings the pain to the US making a decent showing with Boon and Nail at #17 and #19. I think most AMN curries are scared of the big bad US. Cant handle the Budweiser or something.
