*********************************************************** * ******************************************************* * * * UNPROTECT FOR ACCOLADE'S SERVE&VOLLEY TENNIS GAME * * * ******************************************************* * *********************************************************** Brought to you by the courtesy of: Maintenance The following instructions will provide you with an unprotect for the game SERVE&VOLLEY from Accolade so you may make a backup copy of the disk and, if you so have the ability, install it on your hard-drive. This un- protect was developed on the file TENNIS.EXE dated 10-05-88, 1:39p, file size of 64256. It may or may not work on different releases. To begin, copy your original SERVE&VOLLEY disk using the COPY *.* com- mand, don't use DISKCOPY as you will then copy an unnecessary bad cluster to the target disk. Once you have done this, put your original disk away as you will no longer need it for this session. Next, using your favorite "Hex Editor" such as Norton Utilities for example, search the file called TENNIS.EXE for the "Hex" string of 55 56 57 06 1E. Once found, edit it to read 31 C0 C3 06 1E. That's all there is to it! You now have a version of SERVE&VOLLEY that is completly unprotected. Enjoy!
