( starting w/ 1st to present ) <hodd> my very first affil was a group back in the day called SSC (Sea Shell Couriers) I was brought in by a friend of mine that said I could score warez from these guys, and in the begining that's why everyone gets into this mess <hodd> I joined in 1996 as a complete newbie and traded with reachout and all that crap...I learned alot from them but felt like I was missing out on the real scene...a guy in the group Buffy, told me that PHX was looking for more traders and they had a 120gig site at the time and in 96 that was huge shit <hodd> so like anyone without inet friends I left SSC and went to PHX <hodd> PHX was the best thing that ever happened to me...I left fxp'ing very early and went straight into shell trading, but at that time there was no such thing as macros and pftp, it was called proxying, and it was all typing commands (open ip port) all that shit...I stayed with PHX and worked my way up the ranks and eventually became one of the leaders <hodd> unfortunately we had a scare and were forced to close the doors of a group that had been around for 5+ years....we decided that the best place for our group to merge was VLN, and we haven't looked back since <hodd> in terms of release groups I've been with KNO for a year now and have never had a dull moment -[CwS Interviewer]: How did you become involved in the scene? <hodd> I was turned on to the scene like anyone else...the need for software... Rating: (6.5/10) ANGELS ON DRUGS (AOD): Well there is not much to say about these boys except they are still amazing everyone. Congratulations to darkwolf for taking the number one spot once again.
