Unprotect Ultima V
[1] Make a copy of your Ultima V Program Disk (Disk 1) using
the DOS COPY *.* command.
[2] Copy the files ULT-V.BAT and PAT.EXE from this package to
the copy of the Ultima V Program Disk you made in Step 1.
[3] Now, using the Ultima V copy containing the the files
ULT-V.BAT and PAT.EXE, type ULT-V at the DOS prompt.
[4] A patch will be made to the file ULTIMA.EXE, after which
you will be able to copy and run the program normally.
[5] When you are finished, you may delete the files ULT-V.BAT
and PAT.EXE from your Ultima V disk.
