Here is what we have instore! -=- [CwS Olympic Gold Tournament] -=- [ EURO & USA Divisions ] * When it begins: After current events in the scene, the tourament won't start right away, ill let you guys know in future issues when it will start, but atleast not for a couple weeks, but still you can sign up, so do that now. :) * How it works: The Olympic Gold Tournament will work like this, it will run for 4 weeks, each week you score will be takin, then after the 4 weeks, we will drop your lowest score and then tally up the 3 that are left and divide that into 3 to get a average. Then we see jff placing 12th and kali rolling it all up at the 14th spot. The race between AOD/AMN/RiSC is a boiling!@# can ya feel the sweat? Great week AOD lets see who is gonna be on top next week. Rating: (7/10) AMNESiA (AMN): AMNESiA comes in second this week with a good team effort. We see six couriers on the scorecard. We got nail placing #6, acid placing #7, freak placing #15, ls placing #16, cahor placing #24 and virus placing #18. On to the review.... ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Types Of VCD's: ------------------------------------------------------------------------ CAM: Is a handheld camera in crowded theatre. Easily recognised by wery bad quality shaky picture you can hear lotsa talk and laughing in the background, basicly this shit i NOT worth watching. TELESYNC: Well just a better version of a cam or i might say much better. Steady base not as much or basicly none background talk. The quality is much better than a cam but not perfect, the picture may not be entirely straight not zoomed to the exact middle of the screen so you might miss 2inches from the left side etc. Basicly every thing you can expect from a tripod mounted cam in a theatre. Can be worth watching if its not a film you waited ages for. but remember some telesyncs are better than other. WORKPRINT: A very early release of a movie, copyed from vhs into vcd. Usualy containing timecodes and other marks that any non finished movie is containing. SCREENERS: State of the art movie, can even be widescrean. Top quality sound and video. These are usualy made from distributers demo tapes, often containing "1-800-NO-COPIES" or any other text. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Reviews: ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Bring.It.On.SCREENER-TRD Let me start the review of this movie by saying... this flick was pretty funny. Although this movie is quite predictable in so many ways, I found it almost interesting. The movie itself is about a high school cheerleading squad steals its moves from a squad from a school in Compton... that itself is pretty funny :) The new leader of the "Toro's" finds out that they routines that they are performing where stolen from the Compton squad, "The Clovers", by the old Toro squad leader. After realizing this, the Toro's are forced to come up with some new routines before the championships come up. The Clovers, on the other hand have some problems of thier own... Coming up with the money for the traveling they must do for the Championships. During all the mishaps, and scuffles, both cheerleading squads become exhausted, but the show must go on... Watch it yourself to see what happens :) Video Quality: [********--] (8/10) For the most part excellent quality. At points, there is minor pixelation. Sound Quality: [*********-] (9/10) Excellent sound throughout the movie. But, hey, this movie is for the kids, which is exactly why I had to watch it... Relatives in town :D Anyways... This movie is about how Natasha, and Boris crossover into reality and team up with some guy named "Fearless Leader" which is a media giant with some "evil" plans up his sleeve. Thus, Rocky, and Bullwinkle must do the same thing, and cross over into reality to stop the evil threesome. What else is there to say :) It's been a long while since I seen Arnold do a "bad" movie. And this one isn't it. I personally liked this movie. Nice special effects, original storyline. Arnold Schwarzenegger plays a man by the name of Adam Gibson, who is a helicopter pilot, that was presumed dead in a fatal helicopter crash. Arriving home one day he realizes that there is an identical twin "clone" in his house, taking over his life. After the creators of the "clone" find out that the helicopter pilot did not infact die in the crash, they are on the hunt for him, to hide thier secret cloning. At the same time, Mel must find out who, and why this clone has appeared, seemingly taking over his life, and destroying it. Video Quality: [*********-] (9/10) Excellent Video Quality.
