Not only were the filedates on the │ │ DTENNIS.EXE in the FINAL version 3 weeks newer, it was also bigger │ │ and this applies to other files aswell and this information has │ │ of course been verified with Codemasters themselves. Something │ │ else worth noting is that the game hadn't even been finished and │ │ wasnt even mastered when CLASS released it as the programming team │ │ was working on finding the "fatal bugs" that prevented it from being │ │ released. So CLASS, the next time you go around screaming Beta 1911 │ │ watch your mouth, its not wise to through rocks when you're in the │ │ middle of a glasshouse. The game not allowing you to play all people │ │ from the start isn't a sign of beta-ism... its just Codemasters idea │ │ of intelligence..or lack of even. │ │ │ │ Pete Sampras Tennis, the SMASH hit on PSX has found its way to PC │ │ and the result is really good. Pete Sampras Tennis 97 is fast, fun │ │ challenging and easy to play. │ │ │ │ "If you've been waiting for a decent tennis game for the PC, here it │ │ is. If you haven't, here it still is. Some funky shit happens when files are removed...so don't │ │ fuck with them. │ │ │ │ The SMK video files had to go back to Codemasters to be finished so we │ │ had to remove them... │ │ │ │ To install Pete Sampras Tennis, unzip all of the archives into a │ │ temporary directory, make a directory to hold the game in │ │ (such as C:\TENNIS), then type: │ │ │ │ rar x -v -y tennis97.001 C:\TENNIS │ │ │ │ After the game has been unpacked, run SETUP.EXE to configure your │ │ registry settings.
