'|' '|' This week we interviewed boring of MOONSHiNE. ----------------------- #1 - boring Interview: ----------------------- <skimp> Alright boring, first off how long have you been in the scene? <boring> can't exactly put a time on when I stopped being someone who used pirated software and became involved in the process of generating it, but I'd say it's about 4 years now <skimp> Did you pirate software on AOL ?:) Where did you get started? <boring> never even connected to aol :) I started off by founding a channel about 3d graphics, on undernet ( #3dwarez ).. it's still actually going now, at least it was last time I looked.. although most of the origional people don't have enough time for it now.. from that, I moved into supplying stuff 'unofficially' for a few of the big utils groups around then <skimp> Are you serious? I tookover that channel one night :) <boring> hehe, bastard :P <boring> yeah takeovers were the biggest problems that the channel has had to deal with in it's history <skimp> Did you drift from Undernet to Efnet yourself? Or did someone imparticular help you get into the warez scene on Efnet? <boring> but in the past 5 years or so, the longest that it's been taken over for is about 3 days, afaik <boring> well I was supplying stuff for siege and a couple other groups, and they were based on efnet, so I guess that's what pulled me over.. also we were getting fed up with undernet, and we wanted to move the channel to efnet because it was much more stable at the time.. that never really worked out, though <skimp> I see, I remember the days channel taking was popular too, that is also when I came to Efnet. From hearing you say you supplied in Siege I'm guessing you do more then just courier, what all groups have you been in throughout the past? <boring> to be honest I didn't do a great deal in siege, other than supply a beta of 1 single big title... <boring> as for other groups, the trading groups I've been in are PSY and now MSN <boring> cracking wise, I've been in AIR, CST, UCF <boring> I was in origin and myth for a short while after the ogn/pdm merge <boring> and I haven't been in a utils group 'officially' yet <skimp> Very nice, not too many groups, you don't like to hop around in groups do you? <boring> no, I think loyality is one of the most important characters that anyone can have.. the whole point of being in a group (for me, anyway) is not to just take as much as the group will give you, the whole point of it is the team spirit and amaraderie <boring> er camaraderie <boring> if that's even spelt right ;p <skimp> I personally am not for group hopping also, do you think that is a bad aspect of the warez scene now adays? Easily recognised by wery bad quality shaky picture you can hear lotsa talk and laughing in the background, basicly this shit i NOT worth watching. TELESYNC: Well just a better version of a cam or i might say much better. Steady base not as much or basicly none background talk. The quality is much better than a cam but not perfect, the picture may not be entirely straight not zoomed to the exact middle of the screen so you might miss 2inches from the left side etc. Basicly every thing you can expect from a tripod mounted cam in a theatre. Can be worth watching if its not a film you waited ages for. but remember some telesyncs are better than other. WORKPRINT: A very early release of a movie, copyed from vhs into vcd. Usualy containing timecodes and other marks that any non finished movie is containing. SCREENERS: State of the art movie, can even be widescrean. Top quality sound and video. These are usualy made from distributers demo tapes, often containing "1-800-NO-COPIES" or any other text. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Reviews: ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Bless.The.Child.SCREENER.VCD.CD1.REPACK-EViLISO At first glance at the name of this movie, I thought to myself, " OH NO!, a chick flick!" Boy, was I wrong :D. This was truly a nail-biter. Watching and fearing what the cult members are going to do next to the poor little girl and equally poor Maggie (played by Kim Basinger). The girl was born when a holy star was in the sky, and she possesses special powers to lead people closer to God. Only now a cult wants her so they can change her and use her powers to a darker end. Kim Basinger did a very good job as the confused aunt of the little girl who suddenly has the world pulled out from under her when her drug-addicted sister returns out of the blue six years after giving the child to Maggie and wants her child back. Christina Ricci did an excellent job in the small role she plays in this film, as Cheri, a girl trying to break from the cult and warn Maggie of the dangers that are coming Cody's way. A very good thriller. I usually don't use the term "Edge-of-your-seat" for a film, but this is definitely one of them. Video Quality: [XXXXXXXX--] (8/10) Standard SCREENER quality. Although it is more for people with an interested in "Devil Worship" :D ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Nurse.Betty.VCD.SCREENER-RiM A Kansas City waitress (Renee Zellweger) with the desire of becoming a nurse goes "nuts" after seeing her husband (Aaron Eckhart) murdered. Becoming delusional from shock, she becomes convinced that she is the former fiancee of her soap opera idol (Greg Kinnear). What she also believes is that the soap opera is real and goes to LA to find the hospital where he works as a cardiologist. Meanwhile, her husband's murderers (Morgan Freeman, Chris Rock) are searching for the drugs stolen by her husband and, as luck would have it, they are stored in the trunk of the car she drove off in. Freeman, an aging hitman planning his retirement after this job, also becomes delusional about the woman he is tracking. This movie is quite funny... Plus, any man with any taste also wants to bang the living hell outta Renee Zellweger, UNF! :D Must see :D Video Quality: [XXXXXXX---] (7/10) Minor choppiness, slight pixelation. But in all seriousness, I thought this movie to be very funny, and made me laff out loud on several occations :) ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Unbreakable.REAL.TS.Subbed-VCD.Europe First, this movie didn't turn out to be all it was cracked up to be. The idea of the story is that this Security Guard named David Dunn(Bruce Willis) survives a HUMOUNGOUS train wreck. Not only does he survive it, he is COMPLETELY unharmed. Later in the movie David is approached by Elijag aka "Mr. Glass" because of his very fragile body. Elijag has this theory that David Dunn has the "powers" of which he needs himself. Of course, David doesnt beleive any of the things that Elijag is mentioning to him. David, never sick, or hurt physically in his life, has unhuman strength... David begins to discover the shocking truth behind Mr. Glass's assumptions. But after all, David's fate is not only to find his real place in the world. It also is about proving Elijah's theory of his own existence. Check it out, its not THAT bad of a movie. Video Quality: [XXXXXXXX--] (8/10) OK TS quality. Pixelation throughout the film.
