Keys 1-4 make a special weapon active. On the first level weapon 3 is not available normally so the graphics for the bullets may look a bit weird, but it seems to works ok none the less. Some of the weapons are not available on some levels so if something weird happens just pick another weapon. :) 1 - lasers 2 - missiles 3 - flame shot 4 - ? Keys 5 & 6 boost your stats in the obvious way. Keys 7 & 8 toggle infinite shots/invincibility. The backspace key allows you to instantly win the level.
