This is the package given to INC so the it could be used as a logo, info, and game launcher. This kit only supports clear text messages, whereas those generated by Null Set could be encrypted which would further validate the source of the loader.

They are listed with short descriptions and file CRCs to aid in ensuring their integrity. The CRCs were obtained from PKWare (ie; the CRCs listed here are the CRCs listed by a PKUnZip /v). The idea being that if the author's AV information was on a particular zip, you were assured that no one but the author placed those files into that zip. This prevented people from placing trojans or viruses into already released software. Recently, however, people have come out with ways to duplicate other people's AV. Thus it is now possible that even though PKUnZip displays that all files were AV'ed with my AV info, unfortunately, you no longer know for sure if this zip was tampered with or not. To that end, please check the contents of this zip for viruses using your favorite virus checker. Footnote: Those "wonderful" daemon taskers that some BBS's use to strip or replace AV information is just another blow to the AV principle. Please, if you run a BBS, do *NOT* strip AV! If you are a user on a BBS that has such a daemon tasker, ask the SysOp to stop using it! --------------------- The Palette Utilities --------------------- While developing INCLogo2, I wrote three small utilities to help me check out the palette and make sure that I wasn't squashing it. These utilities don't do a whole heck of a lot, but you may find them useful. They are: DumpPal - This simply prints the current EGA color palette and the VGA color registers to the screen. RandPal - This will place random information into the EGA color palette and the VGA color registers. ResetPal - This restores the EGA color palette and the VGA color registers to their defaults. Note that the defaults that I have on my system (which this util sets them to) may not be the exact same defaults used on your system. Note: RandPal and ResetPal are not guaranteed to work because of their simplicity (and my laziness). If they don't work, you're SOL. Null Set {}
