Including 4 different plugs: - dB-S De-Esser. dB-S is a flexible de-essing plugin, designed to remove the sibilant "ssssss", "shhhhh", and explosive "ttttt" sounds in a vocal track or mix. It consists of a selective narrowband filter to detect the sibilant sounds in a vocal, a 3-mode compressor to remove the sibilant frequencies from the vocal, and an intuitive interface to show you what's going on! dB-S is effective at reducing sibilance in both raw vocal tracks AND final mixes. - dB-M Multiband Limiter. dB-M is a flexible dynamics plugin with many uses including loudness maximizing, advanced EQing, and dynamics tuning. dB-M splits your audio using a high quality crossover filter - this cuts the audio into low, mid, and high frequency bands. Each band is then processed through its own lookahead limiter (using the same intelligent algorithm designed for the dB-L mastering limiter). - dB-L Mastering Limiter. dB-L is a mastering plugin designed to control or boost the overall loudness of your mix and to prepare your audio for final burning onto CD. dB-L uses an intelligent lookahead limiter to transparently boost the loudness of your mix. Ever tried using a normal compressor plugin to boost volume? If so, you know that a compressor with zero attack time distorts the audio, particularly with bass-heavy music. The dB-L lookahead algorithm does not suffer from this problem - even very bassy material can be boosted without problems. dB-L can also be used as a straightforward brickwall limiter. A common problem with PC sequencers & editors is how to keep the final volume of your wav file under control. Add too much EQ or reverb - your the mix goes over the magic 0dB level, and you get digital clipping. Reduce the volume of the original to give you some headroom to work with, and you end up with a wimpy sounding mix. - dB-D Dynamics Processor. dB-D is a compressor & expander with brickwall limiter. It has a side-chain feature for special applications such as voiceovers (ducking) and synchronized gating.
