─ FrontDoor v2.12 Registration Code Finder ─ by BGI This program will allow you to enter a working registration code for FrontDoor v2.12. Unlike other loaders, FDREG will report a code at the bottom of the screen based on the string you entered. You will then be able to copy the correct registration code into FDSETUP and register FrontDoor. Here's how to do it: 1) Run FDREG.EXE. 2) Run FDSETUP.EXE. 3) Select "Enter your code" from the "File" menu. │ You should notice that a line near the bottom of the screen has │ │ been completely erased. │ 4) At the prompt, enter a code that is at least sixteen characters long (excluding the "FD" part). If it is less than sixteen characters, FDSETUP may allow the code, but FD will not register the program. 5) At the bottom of the screen, the registration code will be displayed. Again, select "Enter your code" from the "File" menu. 6) Enter the code at the bottom of the screen. │ After you enter the code, a "<+>" should appear on the upper- │ │ right corner of the screen. │ 7) Write SETUP.FD and quit. 8) Run FD.EXE. If all goes well, FD should report "Registered to: <name>" when it first initializes. Otherwise, try again, making sure the registration code you entered is at least sixteen characters long. FYI: This is my first loader. Although I have done a few public domain/shareware registration cracks, this is the first one that does not take the "brute force" approach (i.e. patching certain bytes in the program). I think the generated codes should work for many future versions. The author of FrontDoor changed all of the registration codes since v2.11, so he may not be as inclined to change the codes once more. ── BGI ──
