at least as far as renderman and i are concerned, we're basically artists of a sort first, and programmers second. the most important aspect of lithium is what it has to say not how we say it. i mean, i like to try and make the best shit i can but i still feel that what's in alt-1 is more important than the wrapper around it. the look of the productions we make has a similar atmosphere to it because that's our 'style' of art. you'll get the idea after you've seen a few of our releases. yeah we know we suck on a euro scale but we do pretty damn well by american standards where 3d geometry is an advanced college math class as opposed to a fucking high-school class like any country with its head screwed on straight like most of scandinavia and a lot of the southern western european countries like germany, etc...who provide FUNCTIONAL educations instead of 'well rounded' educations. i mean i've read grapes of wrath 90 times but they still haven't offered me a programming class except in pascal on an apple ][. anyways.... natas : age 18, from chippewa falls, wi USA (715) kinda-student at chi-hi but dosen't show up too much renderman : age 20, from chippewa falls, wi USA (715) works at motherfucking menards in EC... -natas
