In his quest to seek more power, Silver wishes to │ │ appease the great chaotic god, Apocalypse. If successful, Silver will │ │ become Apocalypse's agent of evil on Jarrah and receive untold dark │ │ powers. │ │ │ │ Elsewhere Fuge, Silver's son, has gone to the nearby island of Verdante. │ │ Here he rounds up all the women so that Silver may take one as his bride. │ │ The townsfolk are displeased with Silver's abuse of power. They would be │ │ even more displeased if they knew the truth! │ │ │ │ Fuge heads off into the forest of Verdante to make sure all of the women │ │ have been accounted for. This is where our hero, David is introduced. His │ │ wife is abducted and taken away from David right under his nose. He │ │ attempts a rescue but ultimately fails. │ │ │ │ Needing help in rescuing his wife, David turns to a band of rebels for │ │ help. After speaking with the Oracle, David and the rebels are told of │ │ the only way that Silver can be defeated. Centuries ago a long dead race │ │ called the Elders created 8 magic orbs. When brought together their power │ │ was more than a match for any evil. Unfortunately, over the years, the │ │ orbs have been scattered across the land. Some were stolen, others │ │ bought, some simply lost. │ │ │ │ David's only chance of success is to retrieve the 8 magic orbs and │ │ confront Silver. │ │ │ │ Ripped: │ │ ~~~~~~~ │ │ To get the game under the limit the pesky .pak files were decrunched, │ │ and the background gfx contained therein were jpeg'ed to shrink the data │ │ size. Some of the sound effects were also downsampled. Music and speech │ │ were ripped along with some of the (non-essential) background animations. │ │ Expect addons for these soon. │ │ │ │ Install: │ │ ~~~~~~~~ │ │ Unzip and then either use our INSTALL.EXE or unace manually. │ │ If you didn't use the installer don't forget the double click SILVER.REG │ │ to import the registry settings. Once the game is unpacked, be sure to │ │ run SETUP.BAT to perform the last stage of decompression.
