What do you guess why you can define Filetypes in DOpus? To perform various actions on them, damn right, little spreading kid! So think of this: You select the LhA-Archive Filetype, choose Action-User1, and go like this... - enter "Extracting File_ID.diz" as a titletext - select and enter (one line after the other) AmigaDOS LhA -Nqm x {f} File_ID.diz T: Command FinishSection Command AnsiRead T:File_ID.diz And then think a bit further and set up a Button maybe called (guess!) "File_ID.diz" ... and you just enter... - Command User1 Now thats all for that. Select an LhA-Archive, Click on your new made button and?!? You see the File_ID.diz! Is that possible? Funny ha? Now, go ahead with your other filetypes, for DMS use DMSdescript, for AmigaDOS Programs use EXEdescript, for Textfiles set up a Filetype matching these with *.(txt|dok|doc|nfo) and use TXTextract... and imagine any other filetype you have a File_ID.diz extractor for and go similar. So what the *fuck* do you want with your cool ARexx scripts? Laming around, yes... and now if somebody asks again why he can't connect with his fucking Terbo to a ZyXEL with 19k2 BPS I'll explode!
