REMOVE THIS SECTION FROM YOUR AUTO-NUKE BOTS AND WAIT TILL WE ALL FOUND A SOLUTION TO THIS DISASTER EVERYONE MUST LIVE WITH SINCE YEARS! AS LONG THERE IS NO AGREEMENT THE RULE SET IS OUT OF FUNCTION! WHY IS THE RULE SET NOT LEGIT?! 1. Rules get created by groups that are supplying a section since years and responsible for the content you all benefit from. 2. Our common understanding of a legit rule set is that a so-called "COUNCiL" gets formed out by leaders of the most active groups in a section to control the quality and create the standards for future releases. SUMMARY: Nothing of the above happens here. They just pop up created by ONE person and few people met at site rings. Groups were forced to follow them and signed them without the chance to change them!!! No invitation into a channel to discuss the rule set, sign and release them as it is common in all other sections we developed TOGETHER over the past years. GET A BRAIN! We missing tons of originals, promos etc. Instead, people archiving and releasing degraded MP3 sound files cut by some digital sound engine called LAME (PSY/GPSYCHO). Advantages of WEB FLAC: * 24 Bit/96 kHz and more possible! (MP3 can't handle this bitrates) * NO DIFFERENCE to the retail product. There is just no physical medium anymore! * Double of data in a .flac file beside .mp3 (IT'S THE ORIGINAL CONTENT CREATED IN THE STUDIO) * Enough legit webshops, 100% digital labels around that releasing wav and/or .flac files! * You CAN BUY WEB flac at legit stores instead hacking google.play and autopre stuff! That is no excuse to forbid all WEB content. - So what is THE TRUTH about the current rule set? - It got created by old suspecious farts that built a decent network of nuke systems implemented to servers. As we all know the whole scene suffers from this individuals in the meantime because they not doing their job probably. They are not around to check dupes and prevent double uploads or checking the content, instead, they creating rules in meantime all sites and sections must follow. Doesn't matter how stupid they are! (E.G. MP3COUNCIL VS RIAA NUKEWAR). There is no reason to nuke actual improved LAME versions with the newest GPSYCHO/PSY engine. The worst thing is that those individuals created decent siterings and a database with all scene sites listed. YES SITERINGS AND A BIG SITE DATABASE! Something FORBIDDEN back in time for security reasons! If one big ring is infiltrated and busted, a whole part of the scene is shut down! GREAT! AGAIN GET A BRAIN! Or imagine this database(s) get leaked!? WTF! To hide their missing operating system skills and understanding of Linux, programming languages and everything you need to secure a server probably they even invented an IP-banning system that forcing couriers and groups to drop all sites that are rented / colocation or with setups not common for their understanding. This, of course, leads to nothing instead losing friends! Homelinks that producing terabytes of traffic every month are the riskiest way to run a scene site because this amount of traffic is not normal for an end-user. We all can remember busts in .SE BBB back in time or not? FINAL: As long all the bigger and smaller active FLAC GROUPS not discussing their rules in a channel, this ruleset is just some master control program by networks not doing any real release work for the scene.
