Greetings from Sorcerers to all of you! This intro is production of the deep red FOX of Sorcerers. As you can see, I have now designed a new digitized voice playing routine which can do the job in the background! Now, let's take another scroll . down here . This sound is sampled from the Bomb the Bass record. Thanks to Microbrain for it. Thanks to Patrick for the original routine. Greetings to BCG - here is finally an intro made totally by me! I thought I should do something in the summer... do you like it? Ranger: I would have needed you to write something longer here... Another scroll goes ^ up here ^ Greetings to HLCA - I dunno nothing about you, just heard... Hatza: This shouldn't be any faster on your 386SX than on any other machine! Now some technical info about the sound in this intro: The length of the sample is 10900 bytes. The timer interrupt ticks about 12000 times in second and in each tick one bit is played. (The normal speed for timer interrupt is 18 Hz!) All right, that was enough for it.. Nico: You haven't broken your machine this summer yet.. :-) Yeah yeah, I know it's boring to listen this same piece of music hundred times, but I didn't want to make this program too big. But I'll make something longer some day.. If I have time... Let's take the two other texts again ^ up here ^ and . down here . I almost forgot this guy: MATS . K!!! H„lsningar!!! How's it going!!!??? Have you already got rid of the exlamation points!?!?!?!??! Do you know what's the best thing in this hobby? MODEM! I am now two weeks without one and it's painful... Hey SIG! You liked my speaking clock.. How'bout this? Greetings to all the modem users in Helsinki - you've got no good bbs softwares there! So the visual side in this intro is a little poor... Try pressing some key and look carefully what happens! Obviously the next thing to do is synchronized sound and picture! In fact there's a bit of it in this intro. Mega-maxi greetings to AXO who is now practising war.. poor boy.. Sebu: Let's try that LineWars again! Perhaps you've trained and are better now! And Tony! Where are Tony's grotto and Tony's den? Anyway, I don't think I have enough inspiration to write an hour-lasting scroll. So people: DON'T WORRY - BE HAPPY! and the story goes on.. # LOOK UP HERE! Hello hello hello! Watch your keyboard! Weehoo weehoo weehoo! Look at your disk drive! Booga booga booga! Watch the screen! Yobbo yobbo yobbo! Listen to the speaker! ■ ■ ■ ■ ■ ■ ■ ■ ■ Try this on a big screen 132*43 etc. I wonder it it'll work with bigger screens. It should. The ATOM intro by FOX of Sorcerers is going on. ■ ■ ■ ■ ■ ■ ■ ■ ■ Press ESC to quit, S toggles sound, other keys change effects. # LOOK DOWN HERE! This intro was made by FOX of Sorcerers Press ESC to quit S toggles sound Letter keys make effects! Don't try this intro under DESQview! Have you ever heard about SORCERERS? what? what? SORCERERS! Contact us by calling BCG-box at number: +358 (9)21 4 40 404 4040 40403 404036 (modem) In the future we will use more digitized voice in our intros and demos. If we had a good enough voice compression system, we could TALK the greetings!
