REAKTOR is a completely modular sound-design studio that gives you the freedom to build your own individual realtime software synthesizer. You can run REAKTOR on both Windows and MacOS computer systems - it features an absolutely professional and powerful sound and, furthermore, a superior MIDI-timing with minimal latency. REAKTOR can be integrated into almost any studio environment you can imagine via the interfaces ASIO(tm), VST(r)2.0, Digidesign(r) DirectConnect(tm) and the Logic(tm) MIDI-Environment. What's new in Reaktor 2.3.2 : - General Bugfixes - "Sel Note Gate" doesn't produce hanging notes anymore. - Copy/paste of a switch now creates a switch with a different ID for snapshot files. In version 2.31 a switch with the same ID has been created. This results in unwanted snap values while saving and loading snapshot files. If you have built an Instrument with Reaktor 2.3.1, it’s possible that the ID changes when you load this Instrument the first time in 2.3.2. - Overall stability has been improved. VST : - Cubase: Version 3.7r2 is needed. - Logic: The VST Instruments plug-in will not work with Logic Audio 4.2. The VST effect plug-ins work only with a sampling rate of 44.100 kHz. - 4 Instruments and 4 effects can be loaded into the VST host at the same time. They are listed as Reaktor VST, Reaktor B VST, Reaktor C VST, Reaktor D VST and Reaktor VST FX, Reaktor B VST FX, Reaktor C VST FX, Reaktor D VST FX. - Reaktor now sends and receives MIDI data as a VST effect. - If Reaktor is running as a VST plug-in under Cubase, the synchronisation of Reaktor's internal sequencers to Cubase's clock is improved. There is still a problem if you export a wave-file ("rendering" the MIDI-sequence to audio data) and the position pointer of Cubase is on the left side of the left locator. This results in timing errors at the beginning of the wave file.
