Today we have learned that our friend Goolum (GLM) has died. Goolum has been in and around the scene since the Amiga days but had never been the guy to jump from group to group, but stayed loyal and dedicated to the few groups he was involved in. People who have never been involved in the scene might not understand the relationship you can have with a friend who you never or rarely see, but Goolum was more than just a member of a group he was a long time friend to many of us. We are all proud to have been in a group with you, to have spend many a long night sharing knowledge about everything, learning about your daughter who you where very proud of, and all the projects you where involved in. Goolum, You where our friend, our team mate, our family. We salute you old friend. Our thoughts go to your family and especially to your daughter. If there's an afterlife we will meet again for sure. - ZENiTH MEMBERS ~~~~ PyroSim is the leading software for quickly and accurately working with FDS models. PyroSim is a graphical user interface for the Fire Dynamics Simulator (FDS). PyroSim helps you quickly create and manage the details of complex fire models. PyroSim imports AutoCAD DXF and DWG files. When PyroSim imports a DWG/DXF file, it will treat all 3D face data as obstructions and all other data (lines, curves, etc.) as separate CAD data. The left image of the figure shows the DWG file face data and the right image shows the grid representation that will be used in the FDS analysis. Alternately, a drawing in GIF, JPG, or PNG format can be imported and then used as a background to help you rapidly draw your model directly over the image. PyroSim includes tools to help you create and validate multiple meshes.
