The graphics are spectacular and the │ │ music is pretty decent too. Be sure to check out the demo/ │ │ intro of the game; parts of it are like digitized .gl file │ │ movies. My first impression of the game is that I see it as │ │ somewhat of a cross between Future Wars, Geisha and Les │ │ Manley: Lost In L.A. This is definetely an adult adventure │ │ game with a soft-core porn look and feel to it. │ │ │ │ Crack Notes: There were two doc checks at the beginning, one came up when │ │ you started the game one way, the other came up when you │ │ started it a different way. The protection was fairly sneaky; │ │ the crack ended up being four bytes. │ │ │ │ The game was playtested for approximately two hours prior to │ │ release and no doc checks in addition to the two up front were │ │ found. If additional doc checks are found later in the game │ │ we will fix them. │ │ │ │ Install: The game must be installed prior to running. Unzip all six │ │ disks into a temp directory and run install from there. You │ │ may then select a drive and directory to install the game │ │ into. After the installation the game will beep and you will │ │ be placed into the directory of the installed game. From │ │ here type GO to play the game. │ │ │ │Tips & Hints: A mouse is STRONGLY recommended to play this game. If you │ │ choose not to use a mouse, make sure you load GO.BAT up in │ │ your favorite text editor and remove the word MOUSE from the │ │ batch file. If you keep the MOUSE command in the GO.BAT and │ │ run the game without a mouse driver installed, the game will │ │ lock up. │ │ │ │ Using the mouse I have found that the left button is the │ │ action key. It will push things, pull things, open things, │ │ and pick things up. The right button either drops things, │ │ accesses the inventory menu, or places things into the │ │ inventory. Using the keyboard, you can use the arrow and/or │ │ keypad directional keys to move the icon around, the ENTER │ │ key works the same as the left mouse button, and the ESC │ │ key works the same as the right mouse button. │ │ │ │ When accessing the close-up windows, clicking on the upper │ │ left hand corner closes the window, clicking on the upper │ │ right hand corner, will let you hold the button down and drag │ │ the window to any part of the screen. │ │ │ │ Moving the hand to the upper-left hand corner of the screen │ │ will produce a disk icon. Press the left button to call up │ │ Load/Save/Quit menu. Pressing F1 brings the menu up as well. │ │ │ │ Save your game often, one wrong move early can cause the game │ │ to come to an abrupt ending later. HINT: Save your game prior │ │ to hiding the vial! │ │ │ │ Misc: It is noted that THG released thier own version of this game │ │ earlier today. The THG version appears somewhat incomplete │ │ inasmuch as it is 1.3 megs and ours is over 4 megs. It is │ │ also noted that the THG version is completely in FRENCH, and │ │ this version allows you to play in ENGLISH.
