For example, take any E-mu CD-ROM, and ░│ │░ Translator can convert one of its Samples, or Presets, or Banks or ░│ │░ the entire CD-ROM into Akai format, and then write it directly to ░│ │░ an Akai formatted hard drive for playback on an AKai sampler (or ░│ │░ any Akai compatible sampler). ░│ │░ ░│ │░ NOTES : ░│ │░ ░│ │░ Many have looked and waited for Translator a long time. We have had ░│ │░ it for a while but hesitated to release because it has a confusing ░│ │░ interface and has many bugs to be worked out. Translator seems stable ░│ │░ enough for AKAI and Soundfont conversion as well as making your own ░│ │░ AKAI images. As for the rest...well, ChickenSys needs to do some ░│ │░ more work. Some crashes will be had when doing some of the other ░│ │░ conversions. Translator is not very intuitive and the app suffers ░│ │░ from cryptic error messages and a poorly written (non-fool proof) ░│ │░ code.
