Just type "ULT6FIRM" to start your game. Then, when Lord British asks you of the "Compendium", simply enter "FIRM" as your answer for the 3 questions. My loader has convinced Lord British that "The -=FiRM=-" is omnipotent...hehe... After answering the questions and receiving the key to his castle, you may save your game. From then on you may start the game normally with "ULTIMA6" or "GAME" (see below), but my loader will not hinder you if you continue to use it. 2: Print out the text below and use it to answer the questions. Hard Disk - You need 4 megs free, unzip all files to one directory, then run "INSTALL" to set you configuration, if your graphix are other than VGA you'll have to wade through some conversions... Floppy - Run "COPYU6" on the Install disk to copy from floppies to a hard disk, not sure if you can run from floppies however... You'll have to run "INSTALL" also. - - - - - COMMANDS: - - - - - Seems like Ultima V command set, if you have a mouse you can opt to use the icons instead. New ones I've picked up on: Control-S : Save Game (used to be Sound Toggle) Alt-X : Exit to DOS (it's about time!) Ctrl-Q : Quick Exit at some spots. (stole that from us!) - - - - - - - SPECIAL NOTES: - - - - - - - This game requires MEMORY!!! If you play in EGA or VGA modes you will need about 525k free MINIMUM to play. If the game returns to DOS after selecting "Journey Onward" then you need more memory. Remove TSR's etc. Tips: 1: Remove all TSR's or shells, drivers etc. 2: After creating a character, run "GAME" to play. The THG crack skips Lord British's intro, though I'm confident that FF has things under control, I wouldn't chance screwing up the game like that. The Ultima series are the BEST adventures ever made. The programming is just short of a miracle, therefore VERY sensitive, my loader takes this into account. You don't miss a thing, type "FIRM" and you're ready to go. Then save and you can run the game completely unaltered, assuring YOU the utmost quality and integrity...enjoy... That's what makes us different from the rest...
