=============================================================================== Accolade's THE CYCLES -- Cracked 10/14/1989 by THE FiRM =============================================================================== THE CYCLES is a remake of GRAND PRIX using motorcycles instead of Formula-1 cars... It's a lot of fun, especially when you advance to the levels allowing 'wheelies' and spin-outs... The game supports CGA, HERCULES, TANDY, and EGA graphics as well as PC, TANDY, and ADLIB sound systems... The original game was copy-protected with a 'code-wheel' scheme, but, since we hate having to line up all those names and numbers and such, we removed those bothersome little startup questions for good... To start the game, use one of the following graphics options: CGA = C HERCULES = H TANDY = T EGA = E Followed by one of the following sound options: PC SPEAKER = PC TANDY SYSTEM = TDY ADLIB MIDI = ADLIB For example, to play the game with EGA graphics and the internal speaker use: CYCLES E PC NOTE: To make the setting these selections simpler, we have included a modified version of the "GPCONFIG.EXE" program, which will create a "RUN.BAT" batch-file with the options you select... A square will appear in the middle of the screen. You can then type a number (0-9, as there are 10 'save' slots) and press [ENTER].
