Battle in Middle Earth - Osgood Slaughter 2/23/89 This is the first release (hopefully the last) for the doc check removal found while playing Middle Earth. With this type of copy protection, there is always the possibility of others popping up during the game and unless one has the time to play the entire game (I don't), we pretty much have to take em out one at a time. This particular cp, occurs on christmas day (about 9:00 am). It still prompts for the correct location of some random town, but any entry will work. This BATCH Fix, again, requires DEBUG.COM and LORD.EXE (from the 1st disk) to be in the same directory. You should probably run this on a duplicate disk, just in case they released another version. Well, let me know what happens. Regards, Osgood Slaughter Call These Boards for FiRM Ware : The CornerStone BBS (FiRM HQ!, now at 9600!)
