Bitchin' ANSi Design August 1992 Chapter III "Huh? Chapter III? I don't get it." Well, it makes sense. This month has the best ever in BAD history. So much has happened that it makes one's head spin. So, just to help understand the whole deal with Chapter III: Chapter I was the original state of BAD. Putting out ANSi's every once in a while without a huge amount of talent. Chapter II was when BAD had two members and was pretty pathetic. And now, Chapter III --- The Rebirth. We now are much better than ever before and ready to produce some major ANSi. Just to make myself perfectly clear, BAD has not merged with Assault. I KNOW that's what it says in IRIDIUM, I KNOW that's what Dreadnought posted on several nets, BUT we just haven't. Things didn't work out (mentioned below), so we're now two seperate groups that work together on projects. As mentioned in last month's pack, we've been approached by many groups to merge with. As it turns out, around fifteen minutes after BAD-0793 was released, Color Blind (formerly G-MoNeY) of EViL told me that his group would be more than happy to merge with BAD. Through the EViL merger, we gained Color Blind, our new Senior Member, who has gone out of his way to get BAD going strong. Along with him came Crypt Keeper, Sir Psycho Sexy, and LiQUiD. Unfortunately, we were unable to grab Primal Energy before ACiD took him. We are fully behind (pushing) him (off a cliff) in his pursuit for excellence. <Ack!> Also mentioned in the last pack, we also wanted to merge with SoLo. As a result of this, the only member we got was Zodiac, a new coder. The rest of the group went to MaX (I beleive), but having Zodiac is better than having the rest of the group. Beleive it or not, he did some code without being asked to. I know, it's a amazing, but it actually was done. Check out his request form generator. We were also VERY lucky to be able to have Section 8 and Squirrel come back to the group from iCE. They thought the last pack was really great and combined with some problems with iCE, they decided that joining back up with BAD would be in their best interest. So here's Section 8 with something he wanted to say. Well, thought I'd jump in here and say a few things. One, I'm glad to be back with BAD with my old friends. It's almost like a welcome home party or something. Anyhow, I have a few personal greets to give out: iCE: Enjoyed the time I spent with you guys. Maybe one day our roads will cross again. (Woah, deep thoughts..) :] Assault: You guys do some great stuff. Good luck! Tempus: Uhh.. huh huh.. Cool.. I greated Tempus finally. Kick ass.. The Ninja: Appreciate the reduction in the size of my phone bill. <g> Basehead: Those are some Excellent mods man.. I can't put it into words. Keep it up! And now back to Black Knight. Another lucky thing that happened to us this month was the addition of Basehead, a GREAT musician. He's made a few MOD's, all of excellent quality. We hope to show more of his stuff next month besides this current MOD (if you're using the loader), Transflux. There's also The Confusion. This month, after long discussions, BAD and CHAOS CT (now Assault) decided to get together. Well, after negotiations, we had it all planned --- so we thought. Well, as things turned out, Dreadnought needed to put out the new member list and info file early to make the deadline for Iridium. Things changed afterwards, and now we are just Assault and BAD. We do things for each other (as you can see in this pack) and try to keep in contact. We'd also like to announce that we WILL have an ANSi viewer next month. The programming for it is currently being done and it should be GREAT. A note to everyone that is lame (if not, skip this part): It seems a huge amountof people have called my board in the last month trying to become a distribution site for BAD. Where most have been for nice boards, there a few who didn't even know how to leave feedback to me, let alone know how to save the message. If you are one of these lamers, don't apply. BAD doesn't need you. You may notice that instead of having just one copy of the member and site listing, we have two copies: one for ANSi and another that is text. The ANSi ones are much better, but the current viewer doesn't support ANSi (though it will in the next pack). Bare with us while we get these things done. That's about it.
