You are supposed to turn some figures until all of them are turned the same way. It's a scrolling background, but I prefer to turn that option off because it just makes the game a bit sluggish. I don't know how many levels there are. I've only played to the 3rd level. After each level you get a level code, so you don't have to start from the beginning again.
