Rather than going outside to play, you decided to spend some time on a PC Game. You spent anywhere from 30 min (broadband) to 17 hours (dialup) downloading the Savage release by Deviance only to see \"Authentication failed - someone else is already using that CDKEY to play Savage\" Great. You entire day is ruined. Way to go Deviance! Luckily, your friendly neighborhood Fairlight member is here to help you. Deviance, in their haste to get this game released, only provided a CD Key for their release. However, this release has a fundamental flaw. Once users download their release and try to go online with the key, the servers will experience a flood of identical keys. Thus, it does not take a genius to deduce that the key will be blacklisted. Since this game is solely a multi-player game, being locked out of the game spoils a main part of this great game. The game verifies the CD Key at game start-up. Blacklisted CD Key will not even boot up the game. This is why we decided to release a proper version of the game with proper cracks. The cracks ensure that the game: 1) does not check CD Key. 2) does not connect to the keyserver. 3) think CD Key is valid. 4) work in lobby and chat like the original game. 5) connects to other *PATCHED* server and can play. We must also note that the patch for the client and the server are identical. Moreover, we have also included the crack for the 905c update. Our version will work with any CD Key so just type in any CD Key of your choosing. We have included the patch for the linux exe as well. We decided to provide the proper release in two flavors: 1) full release 2) a zipfile containing the crack files If you have downloaded the Deviance version and not willing to trade up to the superior full version, then you can just download the crack zipfile. Otherwise, you can download our full proper release to enjoy the convenience of having the crack files already included in the CD. Game information: ================= Savage is a Real Time Strategy Shooter (RTSS) that takes place on Earth millions of years from now, well after the fall of all known civilization. Working in a non-persistent online environment, Savage will combine all of the action that gamers expect from a first-person shooter and all of the challenge that real-time strategy fans demand. CONCEPT Combining real time strategy and first person action, Savage delivers the next level in multiplayer gaming. Instead of sending mindless computer drones into battle, imagine organizing real human players on a crusade to conquer your adversary. Choose to be a commander, and you will play an in -depth RTS game, researching technologies, mining resources, and issuing orders to your units. Choose to be a warrior, and you will play an intense game of first person combat, wielding your weapon of choice to strike down the enemy. Savage is designed so that neither RTS nor Action based play are watered down in any way. RTS fans will have all the control they are used to, such as: tech tree, resource management, and tactical strategy. In turn, the action-based players will play an in-depth fighting game with a heavy emphasis on battle dynamics. Although the two sides work together their roles are very distinct. COMMANDERS Your base starts out with a command center. Here you may create workers to mine nearby resources, which are then used to develop and augment new technologies. These technologies will provide your team with stronger units, weapons, and defenses. Ranged units, protective walls, defensive towers and siege weapons, are some of the many upgrades you will provide your team. Once you have created a formidable offense it is time to orchestrate your assault. Lead your loyal warriors into battle and fight for the survival of your race. ACTION MODE PLAYERS Your game begins inside your team\'s command center. Here you equip yourself with weapons and abilities before commencing battle. As an action-based player you have all the freedom of a first person shooter, running, jumping, hacking, slashing, and firing ranged weapons. You have at your disposal any of the items your commander has researched thus far. In addition to light, medium, heavy, and ranged characters, you may choose to man a defensive tower or control a siege weapon. Work together and be victorious in your quest for total domination. Installation Information: ========================= Just extract the archives and burn the .cue file with your favorite CD- Recording software. Copy over silverback.* files from /crack on the CD or from the zipfile to appropriate places.
